Infomacro Participates in the 2019 China (Shenzhen) FinTech Global Summit and Becomes a Member of the Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau Technology Alliance

“The 2019 China (Shenzhen) FinTech Global Summit was held at the Five Continents Hotel, where the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau FinTech Alliance was unveiled. As a global fintech event, the Global Summit has been held for four consecutive years, and the theme of this year’s event is “Risk and Regulatory Technology”, which attracted more than 600 participants from government departments, regulatory agencies, research institutions, financial institutions and fintech enterprises.

Unveiling Ceremony

Against the backdrop of the “Outline of the Plan for the Development of the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao”, “Opinions of the State Council of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Supporting Shenzhen to Construct an Advance Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” and “Financial Technology (FinTech) Development Plan (2019-2021)”, cooperation and development of financial technology among Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao has become a focus of the industry.

After half a year of incubation and preparation, the three places have reached a consensus on the future development of the Alliance. The Alliance will take “accelerating talent cultivation, deepening industry exchanges, promoting industry innovation, and advancing interactions among the three places” as its development objective, and “promoting the unification of talent standards among the three places, strengthening the construction of space carriers for fintech in the three places, cultivating fintech enterprises, organizing fintech exchanges among the three places, and launching fintech planning and research” as its main objectives. With “promoting the standardization of talents in the three places, strengthening the construction of fintech space carrier, fostering fintech enterprises, organizing fintech exchange activities in the three places, and conducting fintech planning and research” as the main task, the Alliance is committed to adding bricks and mortar to the development of fintech and contributing to the building of a global fintech center in the three places.

The establishment of the Alliance is a major initiative to promote the synergistic development of the regional economy from the perspectives of industries, talents and space carriers, as well as the construction of a new open economic system in the three places, and to help Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao achieve solid results in the construction of the Greater Bay Area.
