Infomacro Attends NSFC-FDCT Forum to Explore Cross-border Applications of Blockchain

Recently, the 2025 NSFC-FDCT Forum on Frontiers of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence was held in Shenzhen. Co-hosted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT), the forum invited Infomacro to attend. At the sub-forum themed “Cross-border Data Security and Compliance”, Infomacro delivered a presentation titled “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Digital Bridge: Blockchain Empowers a New Pathway for Cross-border Living”.

The forum aimed to promote cutting-edge technological cooperation between the Chinese mainland and Macao. In their speeches, the organizers stated that they expect to deepen collaborative innovation and support the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into an international center for science and technology innovation.

Representatives of Infomacro pointed out that cross-border living in the Greater Bay Area faces challenges such as low efficiency of data circulation and difficulties in ensuring security and compliance. Blockchain technology can provide critical support to address these issues. The proposed solution leverages blockchain to build infrastructure for cross-border data flow, ensures data security and compliance through unified supervision, improves service efficiency in scenarios such as cross-border government affairs and healthcare, and facilitates daily life for residents in the Greater Bay Area.

Taking advantage of the forum platform, Infomacro conducted in-depth exchanges with universities and enterprises from both the mainland and Macao. Going forward, Infomacro will further dedicate itself to blockchain technology research, optimize relevant solutions, promote their implementation, and contribute to the digital upgrading of cross-border living services in the Greater Bay Area.
