Infomacro’s product for this competition is the “Macao Health Code” (Macao Health Code), which is a policy-driven product designed to assist in the interaction and authentication of health information and data in major epidemic prevention efforts, as well as to provide timely feedback and statistics on important information needed in an epidemic. Due to the differences in data protection laws and regulations between Hong Kong and Macao and the Mainland, in order to realize the interactive authentication of health information of the citizens of the two places, the governments of the two places joined hands and coordinated the matter, with Infomacro providing technical assistance and implementation, and successfully put it into use. At present, Guangdong Province and Macao can smoothly advance the customs clearance, so that about 400,000 residents, civil servants and laborers who frequently travel between the two places can return to their workplaces and places of residence, which provides indispensable support to the economic recovery of the two places.
