Achievements: The Guangdong-Macao Cross-border Data Verification Platform is the first cross-border data verification platform promoted by the government after the official release of the ‘Overall Programme for the Construction of Hengqin-Guangdong-Macao Deep Co-operation Zone’, and the first cross-border data verification platform in the Hengqin-Guangdong-Macao Deep Co-operation Zone, which serves as a cross-border data infrastructure for Guangdong and Macao.

The platform is coordinated and promoted by the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund (MSTDF) and the Financial Development Bureau of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Co-operation Zone (FDB), with InfoMacro Information Technology Limited (InfoMacro) and Nam Kwong Tong Company Limited (Nam Kwong Tong), a subsidiary of Nam Kwong Group, as the Macao-side operators, and the Huafa Institute of Financial Science and Technology (HFST), together with the Shenzhen United Financial Holding Company Limited (SZUFHCL), as the Mainland-side operator. Since the launch of the platform, it has been reprinted or reported by the State Council, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the People’s Republic of China (LOCPG), the Development and Reform Commission (DRC), and CCTV News, etc., and was selected as a case study of Fisco Bcos’ blockchain ecology, and was awarded the best case study of financial service innovation by the new media of “Financial News”.
